Alara Koroglu is an enthusiastic and dynamic performer who brings a focused energy to any collaboration she is a part of. I have had the pleasure of working with Alara multiple times in a range both devised and realism productions, and each new project together has been an absolute delight. I was thankful to have originally worked with Alara as an actor, but have since seen her shine when we worked together as producers to found East London Theatre Collective. Her wide range of theatrical training, and offstage skills of marketing and social media, has made her an invaluable collaborator in my theatrical ensemble over the last year. Her understanding of the theatrical process both onstage and off has allowed her to grow into a multifaceted and dimensional actress. Alara's positive energy, passion, and willing eagerness to jump into a project makes her an excellent colleague on any production.

I have had the delight to work with Alara in two different pieces: naturalistic Three Sisters scene from Chekhov and a devised performance built upon immersive theatre.
Alara highlights her work by her responsibility, open mind, creativity and talent. She has demonstrated amazing listening skills to adopting stage directions in her acting, but also has an imaginative, unique and outstanding way of proposing her own understanding of the character. She is a very dedicated artist, exploring different perspectives that the performance may create and also very responsive to her scene partners, showing that her focus on the stage is full and energetic. She is definitely a natural and intuitive performer, always open to suggestions, a very friendly and kind person and an artist with a lot of potential.
